We are delighted to invite you on our next Bosnian Pyramids & Sacred Balkans Adventure — a unique journey through some of the most beautiful, inspiring, and culturally rich places in the Balkans.

This special journey combines ancient history, living traditions, breathtaking landscapes, and meaningful connections with like-minded people. Along the way, we will explore the Bosnian Pyramids, pristine rivers, ancient forests, Croatian stone-built coastal towns, Ottoman-era cities, sacred sites, and places of profound cultural, historical, and spiritual significance.

As always, we travel in our signature slow-paced style, allowing time to truly connect with the land, the people, and each other. More than a tour, this is a moving retreat. Our intention is not simply to collect photographs, but to experience these places deeply and carry their gifts home as living memories.

We believe that travel can be a powerful catalyst for transformation when we allow ourselves the time and space to fully embrace a place and its stories.

Through shared meals, walks in nature, bus conversations, evening gatherings, and moments of quiet reflection, we will explore the many layers of history, culture, mythology, and memory woven throughout the Balkans. As locals, Tara and Manu will share their love for these lands and the experiences, stories, and insights gathered over many years of exploration.

Internationally recognised researchers whose work explores ancient civilizations, Indigenous wisdom traditions, archaeology, cultural memory, and humanity's forgotten past.

We are honoured to be joined by Steven and Evan Strong on this extraordinary journey. Over many years of research, they have investigated ancient sites throughout Australia and beyond, exploring questions about humanity's origins, forgotten histories, and the deeper connections that may exist between cultures separated by vast distances and spans of time.

One area of particular interest is the recurring appearance of the Seven Sisters tradition. Known as the Pleiades in astronomy, the Seven Sisters feature prominently in many Aboriginal traditions across Australia — and in many other ancient cultures around the world. Whether these parallels point to ancient connections, shared human memories, or universal patterns within human culture remains an open question.

Throughout the journey, Steven and Evan will share stories, perspectives, and discoveries gathered over decades of research — enriching our exploration of the Balkans and the Valley of the Bosnian Pyramids.

In 2025, Steven and Evan Strong met Dr. Sam Osmanagich during his visit to Australia. What began as a conversation between researchers soon developed into an ongoing friendship and collaboration exploring ancient sites, cultural memory, and humanity's deeper past.

About Our Special Guests

Steven Strong

Forgotten Origin

Steven Strong is an Australian researcher, author, and former educator whose work focuses on ancient history, Indigenous knowledge traditions, archaeology, and humanity's forgotten past. With a background in archaeology and Aboriginal education, Steven has spent more than three decades working alongside Aboriginal Elders and custodians, exploring ancient sites, oral traditions, and cultural knowledge often overlooked by mainstream history.

Co-author of Forgotten Origin, Mary Magdalene's Dreaming, Constructing a New World Map, and Shunned.

Evan Strong

Forgotten Origin

Evan Strong is a researcher, historian, and author with academic studies in psychology, archaeology, anthropology, sociology, and counselling. For over two decades he has worked alongside Steven Strong investigating ancient civilizations, Indigenous traditions, archaeological anomalies, and emerging evidence that challenges conventional narratives of human history.

Co-author of Forgotten Origin, Mary Magdalene's Dreaming, Constructing a New World Map, and Shunned.

Dr Charles Kos

Dr Charles Kos is an Australian historian, researcher, author and presenter whose work explores ancient mysteries and what he describes as humanity’s endless human past. His research challenges conventional interpretations of history and archaeology, investigating ancient civilisations, pyramids and megalithic sites, mythology, sacred landscapes and recurring connections between cultures across the world. His doctoral research explored the historical origins of Robin Hood, while his broader independent research has taken him into archaeology, prehistory, ancient maps and comparative mythology.

Through his books, documentaries, field research and extensive YouTube work, Charles brings together history, archaeology, mythology and scientific inquiry to explore questions that often sit outside mainstream academic discussion. He has travelled to ancient sites to conduct research on the ground and has documented hundreds of observations, discoveries and theories through his videos and writing. At the heart of his work is a willingness to question established narratives and invite people to look again—with curiosity and an open mind—at how much we truly know about the human past.

Alex Saunders

Founder, Nugget’s News

Alex Saunders is the founder of Nugget’s News, one of Australia’s leading independent media and education platforms. Since launching Nugget’s News in 2017, Alex has built a large international audience through his coverage of finance, economics, cryptocurrency, world events, health, self-sufficiency and personal sovereignty.

Known for questioning mainstream narratives and exploring the bigger picture behind current events, Alex brings an independent and thought-provoking perspective to the journey.

He joins Old Worlds Tours as a special guest for the Bosnian Pyramids & Sacred Balkans Adventure 2027, including the Bosnian Pyramids Summer Solstice events.

We are also in conversation with several internationally recognised authors, researchers, and speakers. Additional guest announcements will be made as they are confirmed.

The Destination

The Valley of the Bosnian Pyramids

The final stage of our journey takes us to the Valley of the Bosnian Pyramids, one of the most fascinating and discussed ancient sites in Europe.

Here we will explore the Pyramid of the Sun, the Ravne Tunnels, the giant stone spheres, and other key locations that continue to attract researchers, explorers, and visitors from around the world. For us, the Bosnian Pyramids invite larger questions about history, culture, human potential, and the knowledge that may still be waiting to be rediscovered.

They remind us that history may be richer, deeper, and more interconnected than we have been taught.

Annual Gathering

Bosnian Pyramids Summer Solstice Conference & Celebrations

The 2027 Bosnian Pyramids Summer Solstice Conference & Celebrations takes place in Visoko from 13–20 June. The gathering brings together researchers, authors, explorers, artists, speakers, and visitors from around the world for presentations, discussions, music, cultural events, and shared experiences.

Our journey stays in Visoko beyond the official conference programme so that we can also be together on the true astronomical Summer Solstice, 21 June 2027.

Over the years, the event has become one of the most recognised annual gatherings associated with the Valley of the Bosnian Pyramids.

Shared Journey of Discovery

Both journeys begin together in Belgrade and continue through Serbia and Bosnia. Full-journey guests then travel onward through Herzegovina, the Adriatic coast, and Montenegro — every stage chosen with intention.

Two Journeys, One Shared Beginning

Throughout the journey, Tara and Manu will offer optional morning yoga, Tai Chi, Nikola Tesla Harmonics sessions, storytelling, and shared exploration. Steven and Evan Strong, Dr Charles Kos and Alex Saunders join the journey as guest speakers, bringing their research and perspectives into the places we visit.

On 8 June, we travel to legendary Mount Rtanj, one of the most intriguing locations in the Balkans. We remain in the Rtanj region through 11 June before continuing to Tara Mountain.

Grab Etno Selo, Tara River & Farewell Celebration

Travel inland through Montenegro's dramatic mountain landscapes for a two-night stay at Grab Etno Selo on the Tara River. On 27 June, beside Tara's beloved river, we celebrate her birthday and bring the shared journey to a joyful close with our farewell party.

From the Tara River, we travel toward Belgrade and pause for our final night in the magnificent landscape of Tara National Park. This quiet final stage offers time to rest, integrate the journey and prepare for departure the following morning.
